It appears to be some sort of email problem, and email is being handled by sendmail on the Linux server.

Here are some diagnostic ideas:

• Log in as the same user on the Linux server, and see if you can use elm or pine to access the email.
• See if you can access another users email from the Windows client by logging into that client as another user on the Linux server.
• Use a different email client. For instance, if you were using outlook, try using Eudora light. If you were using Eudora, try using outlook.
