A Simple /etc/dhcpd.conf
ddns-update-style ad-hoc;
subnet 10.21.8.0 netmask 255.255.252.0 {
     range 10.21.8.200 10.21.8.210;
         option subnet-mask 255.255.252.0;
         option broadcast-address 10.21.8.255;
         option routers 10.21.8.79;
         option domain-name-servers 10.21.8.79;
         option domain-name "domain.cxm";
         option ip-forwarding on;
         option netbios-node-type 8;
     }

The preceding dhcpd.conf works but is obsolete
