Project Charter

The purpose of the Filepicker and Recordpicker is to build user interfaces for applications assembled from small executables (AAfSE). The existing UMENU project is another application building block. A form runner and several minor executables will be added later.

These pickers are intended to run standalone. Their only interface with the calling program is an intermediate file.

See the README.html file contained, in the distribution, for more information.

Project Specifications

See the README.html file for all docs including specs and build instructions.

Maintainers List

Needed Programming and Documentation Tasks

A keystroke reader capable of reading arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn is essential and sorely missed. The recordpicker needs configurable user keystrokes and a help screen. Somebody needs to write a formrunner executable to complete the tools for a user interface.

There's no mailing list yet. For now, communicate directly with Steve Litt. Once there are several participants, I'll make a mailing list.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) list

None exists. The project is too new to really know what to put in it.
